The roaring of high powered two wheelers is ever so close as bike enthusiasts prepare for this year’s Bike Festival.
From the 26th of May until the 28th Kyalami will host the 2017 Bike Festival. In 2016 the festival and show were spectacular and this year it’s guaranteed to be even bigger. Something new that has everyone in excitement is GAS Sports will be bringing the 1000cc class for a round of the DEOD SuperGP Champions Trophy to Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit throughout the event. This will provide the ideal opportunity for everyone to see over 30 of SA’s top superbike riders battle it out on the legendary Kyalami race circuit.
Making its return by demand for another action packed festival is the incredibly successful RocoMamas Custom Bike Championship. The 2016 fest revealed world-class customisations from local South African builders so we can only imagine what phenomenal creations await us this year. Another new for 2017, will be the jam-packed schedule of events, a two-lap parade around the circuit for the top 60 custom motorcycle entries arranged by the event organizers.
One of the biggest and most talked about events to take place this year at the festival is without a doubt ‘FLIGHT NIGHT’. World renown energy drink partner, Monster grants us 3 epic night-time performances where all the attendees get the chance to see 3 of the very best Pilot riders perform their death-defying tricks, jumps, and so much more stunts that you just will not believe if you don’t see it yourself.
Throughout the entire event, people will see some of the best riders in the sport. Lead by international FMX daredevil legend, Jimmy Hill (Yamaha), alongside Monster’s “local elite”, Alastair Sayer (Yamaha) and Jungle Rush’s Dallan Goldman (Yamaha) it will be something out of this world.
As the festival comes closer and closer we encourage everyone to http://www.southafricabikefestival.com and see for yourself how much more the festival will have to offer. The site will also be the perfect place to book your tickets. Missing out on the 2017 Bike Festival is just something you’ll never forgive yourself from.
