Make a date with the EU Film Festival for free this May
For all the film lovers out there, brace yourselves for a first of its kind film festival in Harare, Zimbabwe. The European Union in partnership with 11 of its member states brings you 1000 minutes of entertainment this May from the 16th to the 20th of May this year at Theatre in the Park, Harare Gardens.
According to the Head of the European Union delegation to Zimbabwe, Philippe Van Damme, the festival will help locals get a taste of foreign cultures whilst sharing their own. “The diversity in the narrative will take you from the sweeping streets of Rome, via excursions into Bolivia, New York, and Turkey right into the quaint confines of an apartment in Prague and a depressing hotel room in Romania in the 1980s.”
The festival will witness a minimum of two films screened every evening. Admission will be absolutely FREE!!! Don’t be left out!
