King Arthur’s premiere

Let me tell you a tale where for a night everyone went back in time to a place of knights, castles, wizards and maybe a dragon too.

On the 11th of May, the King Arthur premiere was held at Montecasino. Thanks to Neigh-Bours Magical Medieval Fayre that gave everyone the chance to see Guy Ritchie’s, King Arthur. The film had some of the greatest actors in the industry today. With Jude Law, Djimon Hounsou, and known for his magnificent performance in Sons of Anarchy, Charlie Hunnam.

The event had all that attended dress up as if we were in the film ourselves. With ladies in the loveliest of dresses and the gentlemen dressed in the finest of medieval clothes, it was certainly an event to be remembered. Knights could also be seen on throughout the theater guarding the legendary Excalibur, the sword in the stone.

Many of us, including myself, tried to pull the mighty sword from its stone prison but none prevailed. Luckily Neigh-Bours had magnificent prizes and hampers to hand out before the screening. With prizes for best costume and best selfie, a few lucky winners came away with great merchandise. The film itself was something phenomenal that had everyone leaving and talking about it probably till today.

To all who missed out on the premiere screening, you can visit their social media platforms to see the photos of the event and more. And for all who still think that they are the rightful king and wielder of Excalibur, catch them at their next event to have another go at the sword in the stone.
