Playboy founder Hugh Hefner passed away at age 91

The man who every guy admired and envied passed away at age 91 on the 27the of September 2017.  Hugh Hefner, the silk wearing, ladies man was one of the original American Playboys and was the man behind the world renown Playboy Magazine.

Hugh Hefner founded Playboy in 1953 with $600 of his own money and on that day the multimillion-dollar entertainment empire was started.  Over the years the name Hefner became to go to nickname for ladies men around the world. It took on the same meaning as Casanova.

As part of the publication, Hefner adopted the Playboy lifestyle completely. He surrounded himself with the most glamorous of Playmates and even married a few of them in his lifetime. Hefner could always be seen with a beautiful woman on his arm at the Playboy mansion.

Although Hefner is seen as a sex symbol and the ultimate ladies man who ever lived, Hefner was also the ultimate business man and some say that Playboy magazine “helped the buttoned-up America of the 1950s and early 1960s loosen up a little about sex.” He also changed the way that the world would see a pair of bunny ears.

“I would like to be remembered as somebody who has changed the world in some positive way, in a social, sexual sense, and I’d be very happy with that,”

Hugh Hefner had a dream and chased that dream with everything he had and never gave up.
