In an inspiring display of unity and purpose, Mrs. Universe South Africa Finalists Adel Louw, Malebo Makhathulela, and Alyssa Barberis have joined forces to launch the “Calendar for Hope” initiative. This heartfelt project is dedicated to raising funds and collecting donations for Spreading the Love, a non-profit organization that provides essential food, shelter, and caregiving to children in need. Spreading the Love also runs regular feeding schemes to help the needy and assists with rehabilitating drug addicts, among other initiatives. Additionally, they are proud supporters of victims of domestic violence and raise awareness about GBV.
The centerpiece of this initiative is a beautifully designed A5 calendar, available for purchase at just R110 each (excluding courier fees). These calendars, brimming with positivity and hope, can be ordered through any one of the three finalists. By purchasing a calendar, supporters are not just gaining a functional piece of art but also contributing directly to improving the lives of vulnerable children.
Adding a unique and artistic touch to the campaign, a special edition calendar has been hand-painted by the talented Jamie Moodie. This one-of-a-kind creation will be auctioned off, with all proceeds going directly to support the cause.
